Forum Rules & Guidelines

The following rules are in place for all DogOwners.org forum messages and replies. We reserve the right to remove any post by any member at our discretion.

1. No vulgar language or profanity - This includes inappropriate words, inappropriate sexual references and other vulgar statements. There are word filters in place for a reason, DO NOT try to bypass them with alternate characters or spellings.
2. No threatening, abusive or harassing comments.
3. No slanderous or libelous posts - Making false claims about a company, organization or an individual are illegal and thus prohibited.
4. No discussion or challenge to our editing policy are allowed within the forums other than any forum setup specifically for that purpose. You can ask for clarification or re-consideration by contacting Member Support
5. No advertising or product marketing. You may not embed HTML that includes or links to advertisements of any type.
6. Do not engage in "flame-wars" or excessive exchange of confrontational postings. Debate is important, but users should not try to "pick a fight" with one another.
7. Linking to commercial products or services is not permitted. The forums are for discussion purposes only and not for promoting or advertising other services, companies, or websites.
8. No "spamming" of forums and topics. Post only to those forums and in those topics that are related to your comment or question.
9. Personal attacks against other members in the forum will not be tolerated. A sprited debate is welcome - but your messages must remain civil and friendly.
10. You may not include photos, graphics, or pictures in your message. Linking to other websites for this purpose is prohibited as media and content may be copywrighted or otherwise protected by law.
11. Posts directed to a specific person can be considered off topic and will be deleted by our moderators.

We reserve the right to delete any message for any or no reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless, DogOwners.org and their agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s). We reserve the right to revoke your membership to the forum or disable your posting ability for violating these rules.

DogOwners.org also reserves the right to reveal your identity to legal authorities if requested. Your member name is not shared publicly or within DogOwners.org without your specific and prior approval.
